Susan Walker and Ella

Forever Grateful: An Owner’s Story

Susan Walker, a devoted dog rescue volunteer, is forever grateful to the UC Veterinary Medical Center, San Diego for saving the life of her beloved English setter Ella not once, but twice. It all started on April 14 last year, when Walker went to a friend’s house and was gone for only an hour and a half. Upon returning, she was shocked to find that Ella had ingested a bottle of ibuprofen and began having kidney failure.
