Public Space Reimagined
The Garage PARKlet
The underutilized Mulberry Street Parking Garage was transformed into 24 hours of reimagined space thanks to a 2017 Knight Cities Challenge grant.

The grant recipient, Mercer student Cole Porter, partnered with NewTown Macon to bring the upper level of the parking garage to life. The Garage PARKlet provided a fun, public space for all to enjoy.
