Workforce Planning Hamilton's (WPH) Employer One Survey, has been redesigned this year to be shorter and easier to complete!
What's in it for you?
When you take 15 minutes to complete the survey, between now and January 31, 2017 you'll be helping to create a more educated and stronger future workforce.
By sharing your hiring needs, challenges and plans you'll provide timely labour market information
The results of Employer One are shared with employment providers and educational institutions to create a strong workforce for Hamilton!

What did we learn from last year's Employer One Survey?
Last year a diverse group of employers completed the survey, from virtually all sectors and sizes of businesses.
What did we find?
One in six employers were start-ups
The vast majority of employers indicated that they have mostly full-time staff on board
Fifty-four percent of employers rated the availability of qualified workers as good or excellent
Fifty-one percent of employers indicated that they had one or more hard to fill positions, which was lower than last year
The top 3 competencies employers seek in hard to fill positions are: work ethic, dedication, dependability (44%); Technical (49%); and Teamwork/interpersonal (35 %).
