  • Comprehensive 12 lead Identification
  • Cardiogenic Shock, Heart Failure, and Ultrasound Guided Treatments
  • Pulmonary Embolism and Pulmonary Hypertension
  • Overview of Destination and Bridge Therapies:  ECMO, LVAD, Balloon Pumps 
Tuesday, September 12th - Respiratory Management of the Critically Ill Patient

  • Management of the Difficult Airway
  • Mechanical Ventilators and Ventilation Theory
  • Obstructive and Restrictive Diseases and Treatments
  • Arterial Blood Gases and Imbalance treatments
Tuesday, September 19th  - Medical Management of the Unstable Patient

What to expect:
  • Vasoactive Pressor Therapy and Hypoperfusion
  • Sepsis and Septic Shock 
  • Obstetric Emergencies and Prehospital Management 
  • Toxicological exposure and Treatment
Tuesday, September 26th - Trauma Resuscitation and Advanced Intervention

What to expect:
  • Advanced Trauma Care for the Critically Injured 
  • Near Drowning and Drowning Management
  • Neurologic Traumatic Emergencies 
  • Helicopter Utilization and Operational Considerations
