September Updates From The Chromosome 18 Clinical Research Center

Updates from the Chromosome 18 Clinical Research Center:

• This month, the Chromosome 18 Registry and Research Society provided a donation of $134,500 to the Clinical Research Center, which is $90,000 above the scheduled $44,500 donation for the month!
• Dr. Syed received a pilot grant for a project that would apply AI to medical records and look to improve our ability to acquire, update, curate, catalog, and analyze data from the 700 participants enrolled in the chromosome 18 longitudinal research study



The Clinical Research Center was honored to host Yolanda Valenzuela, the Executive Director of Kym's Angels Foundation for a tour in early September. Kym's Angels has donated over $100M to charitable causes that uplift the lives of the world's most vulnerable through compassion, connection, commitment, and sustained community support. Thank you, Yolanda & Kym's Angels, for all the amazing work you do in our community!
