RAISING A VILLAGE TAKES CENTER STAGE |

Our September Center Stage Investor is Raising a Village!
Raising a Village, Inc. is a nonprofit counseling center serving the Parkland area. They are focused on helping children, families, and individuals in our community who need or want resources and skills to be the best they can be.
At Raising A Village, Inc. they offer a wide variety of services to fit the needs of our community. They offer many types of therapy including play, family, trauma-informed, and individual, as well as groups including parenting classes, anger management, and substance abuse. They thrive in evidence-based, client-centered modalities such as CBT, DBT, CCPT, MRT, MI, and trauma informed cognitive behavioral therapy.

$6600 Need to Reach $25,000 Goal |
Park Hills City Employees and Community Members are nearing the goal to raise the $25,000 need to place a new playground in Elvins Park to honor the Late Paula Lee.
Paula was a 37-year employee of the City of Park Hills who suddenly lost her life to COVID-related illnesses in late 2020. Paula had a profound love for kids; all kids. For that reason, City and Community members agreed that the best way to honor her life was with the placement of new playground equipment, geared toward toddlers, in Elvins Park - a park near her home and dear to her heart. In roughly 6-months time, the effort is nearly complete; approximately $6600 to go!
