Invisible!!! 3/30/25
Hebrews 11:23-27 (KJV)
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Romans 8:24-25 (KJV)
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
How does one SEE something that is INVISIBLE??????
The answer is, of course, BY FAITH!!!
It is now SPRINGTIME-PRAISE THE LORD!!!- and millions worldwide are “fixin” to put plants in the ground-BY FAITH!!!!
We do so IN FAITH-hoping and PRAYING that, WITH TIME, they will bring forth a HARVEST/REWARD.
We do not/can not “see” the finished product, but IN FAITH we begin the process.
WE make myriads of plans for tomorrow, not knowing what tomorrow holds......
But Moses AND his parents believed in tomorrow. They well knew their present condition. Life under occupation, bad economy, tyrannical rule, their very lives threatened.
They DARED to believe God in spite......

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
I/WE admire people who take a risk. Those who COMPLETE their education, master a skill, learn a trade well. It is a much pooh-poohed trait termed DELAYED GRATIFICATION-the putting off of today for tomorrow's accomplishment.
We marvel at a person's ability to hit a 100 MPH fastball or throw a 60 yard pass completion.
I personally marvel at a musician's mastery of an instrument. The sad TRUTH is that many, if not most, were not just “naturally gifted” above the rest of us.
They EARNED it the old fashioned way-THEY WORKED FOR IT!!!!!
Or, as the old fable described the locomotive chugging up the hill, “I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN!!!!”
THE JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH THE FIRST STEP!!!
Daily, God puts in our paths inspirations-others who succeeded in SPITE OF......
In the last couple of weeks I met two such inspirations. One, an 82 year old man whom I greet daily at the gym where I also “work out.” SMILE!!! 82 years old and still pushing weights!!!!
The other gentleman who was incarcerated for 43 years only to be vindicated with a reversal of a charge wrongly convicted of when he was 17 years old. He ENDURED:

I, personally, “TRY” to also BELIEVE God!!! I, personally, take Jesus' Words literally:
Luke 18:1 (KJV)
1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
I, IN FAITH, throw these Words back at God, PRAYING “God, YOU said........”
TODAY, each of us has to “SWING THE BAT!” I have oft used the true account of my own two sons in their formative years.
I spent many a day and hour at the little league baseball fields with them and cheered on their accomplishments.
I sternly warned them each at bat to SWING THE BAT. Do not hope for a walk!!! I had rather they “fail” with a strike out or put out!!!
TODAY, we do not know what the future holds, BUT God does!!!
One can not steer a parked car.
The same author who penned Hebrews Chapter 11 also penned these sacred Words:
1 Corinthians 13:7 (KJV)
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
I close with these Words:

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
TODAY, KEEP ON BELIEVING, KEEP ON HOPING, KEEP ON PRAYING!!!
