For over 35 years, Meyer taught string students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in public schools, including directing the Oak Avenue Intermediate School in Temple City, California for 22 years which garnered national attention for its "Giving Bach" program. Meyer was music director of the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra for 16 years and featured clinician at the ASTA National Conf. A best-selling composer with over 200 compositions and arrangements, Meyer has co-authored method books String Explorer Series and Sight-Read It for Strings.
