26th Annual Symposium on
the Holocaust and Genocide

 Moral Responsibility: Toward a Civic Dialogue
Join us for the 26th Annual Vanier Conference on the Holocaust and Genocide - Moral Responsibilty: Toward a Civic Dialogue, on April 9th-13th, 2018. The Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human rights - in partnership with Vanier College and other organizations - will be hosting a major symposium on the occasion of Genocide Prevention Month. The symposium will be chaired by Dr. Charles Asher Small, Founder and Director of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, and will engage thousands of students across Canada through interactive workshops and presentations.

Highlighted speakers include:

  • Dr. Wahied Wagnat-Hagh, Past President of the International Human Rights League. He is an academic and a political scientist specializing in antisemitism - particularly in Iran and Germany.

  • Dr. Barbara Perry, Professor of Sociology at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Director of Criminology and Justice and Chair, International Network on Hate Studies.
