INVITATION:

The Madison County CTE office is collaborating with the Collinsville Area Vocational Center (CAVC) to host a Regional Electronics/Electrical Trades Advisory Board Meeting and a Regional Manufacturing Advisory Board Meeting for High School CTE Programs.

The goal of the advisory committee is to connect local employers with teachers to develop partnerships that help support local programs by providing feedback from the field, creating partnership opportunities (ex. tours, internships), and developing local talent pipelines. Detailed agendas for both meetings are attached.

We would like to invite you as an industry expert to attend and provide feedback and guidance for high school programs in the region.

Both meetings will take place at CAVC with the Regional Electronics/Electrical Trades Advisory Board Meeting being held on October 3rd from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and the Regional Manufacturing Advisory Board Meeting, being held on October 17th from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (light breakfast and snacks will be provided).

CAVC’s program will serve as the host and will provide an overview of their program, but this is an opportunity for ALL schools in the region to share about their programs and connect with local employers.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the form below.

You are welcome to attend both of the meetings or feel free to only attend the meeting that best aligns with your industry. Also, if there are other professionals in your business that you believe would be a benefit to the conversation, please feel free to invite them as well.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like any additional information.

FYI - We will be hosting a Construction Advisory Committee later this year as well.

Best Regards,

Kaleb Smith
