Dear friends in Christ,
As we approach another Holy Week in the life of St. Andrew’s, I'd like to take this time to officially invite and encourage any and all to join us in the sacred mysteries of the days ahead. I assure you that the journey is well worth the time and effort.
I cannot recommend highly enough the services of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Great Vigil of Easter. They form the backbone of our salvation narrative and the foundation of our Christian identity. As such, they are also powerful times in the life of individuals and the church to pursue reconciliation with God and one another. The hope of the Resurrection flows from and through the hard road of the Cross, a road laden with abundant grace for all those who take up their cross and follow Christ along it.
I invite you to take a chance and open yourself, your struggles, and your life to Christ and his Passion. There is nothing in the changes and chances of life that is beyond the reach of the changeless mercy, love, and truth of Jesus Christ. So join us for as much as you can, in-person if you’re able and online if you’re not, as we celebrate with joy that in Christ we have been brought out of error into truth, out of sin into righteousness, out of death into life.
Passiontide blessings to you all,
Fr. Ben
