The B.C. and Yukon Catholic Bishops have issued a letter inviting Catholics to participate in the upcoming Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) event in Vancouver to witness and celebrate the resilience of Aboriginal cultures. The B.C. National Event in Vancouver takes place Sept. 18 to 21, and the Bishops are asking Catholics to support the event through prayers, volunteering and attendance.
Reconciliation Canada will host activities before and after the TRC BC National Event:
- Pacific National Exhibition - Sep. 18-21;
- All Nations Canoe Gathering - Sep. 17;
- Walk For Reconciliation - Sep. 22; and
- "A New Way Forward" Ceremony - Sep. 22

Join this Saturday's Pilgrimage
 Join the annual Archdiocesan Marian Pilgrimage to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Mission, Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.
Come one and all to pray and celebrate in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes. The main celebrant will be Father Joseph Nguyen, Vicar General.

Nourish your soul and explore your faith
 The Archdiocesan Summer Institute offers one-day faith formation and ministry training for adults, with topics like: Basics of the Faith and Discovering the Gospels.
Summer Institute will be held Saturday, Aug. 24 at Holy Cross Secondary School, Surrey, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
