Spring is coming (it really is)!
NEW art videos
Latest venture - I've started producing YouTube videos of my (painted and photographic) work alongside words and music - am even playing with producing my own soundtracks in the near future and know I've only scraped the surface so far with this burgeoning passion.

The first couple have gone live on YouTube - click on the image above to view No1. - 'Incandescence'.

More videos will be arriving on my Scatter Light channel soon!

I know its hard to feel that Spring is so close, with all the flooding, wind and rain we've had but the profuse amount of snowdrops, primroses and an early hint of daffodils, not to mention the longer brighter days, are trying to tell us so.

In the meantime, I've been enjoying taking photos of some fantastically moody and intense weather and light on my recent walks - see more by clicking my fog image above.

The fact that the first Spring Exhibition of the year is about to get underway, in just over a week's time, is yet another clue that a seasonal transition is nearly upon us...
Spring Exhibition
My exhibition year gets started next week with the opening of the Spring Exhibition at Gallery Fifty Five in Hartley Wintney. The Opening Event is between 11 and 1 on Saturday February 22nd - all welcome - so put the date in your diary and come along to meet me and my five fellow artists whilst enjoying a morning coffee and a slice of cake from the in-gallery tea shop.

More details of the very varied range of work I'm including in the exhibition can be found in my latest blog post here.
Book Signing
I will also be bringing a pile of Soulful Relationship books along to the exhibition opening on 22 Feb for those who would like a signed copy at a special promotional price.

I've already received some wonderful feedback - here's a couple of favourites:

"I got your book through! Love it so far, have read your chapter and a few others. It helped when I most needed it actually as I broke my finger last week and had to have a plate put in! I'm fine and it doesn't hurt- what was most remarkable was that I took it all in my stride, used it as the opportunity I needed to rest and recover and get pampered in hospital while chatting to all the sad confused folk at 3am! I think if I hadn't read your book and the inspiring stories in it, I would have just sulked about the whole incident! So thank you!"

"I have been reading through the Soulful Relationships stories and I really loved yours. So much of your approach to life resonates with me and how I view things. I especially loved the last paragraph about letting go of your story as it is no longer required unless it can be of help to another human being."
And lastly, for the moment...
I already have several pieces of new work well on the way - and am thrilled with how its all going (its been a creatively flowing kind of month) but they're not quite ready for scanning yet, there's still some finishing touches and a lot of drying to be done. Suffice to say I will follow up with another email over the next few weeks to introduce my latest paintings in their very own newsletter...

Hope to see some of you at Gallery Fifty Five!

Much love,

Helen

Galleries are wonderful but I love to meet people face-to-face when I can, to chat over my work and what they are looking to hang on their wall; its part of the joy of what I do. For Private Viewings or (UK customers) to order prints to paper or canvas, please contact me. Internationally, prints can be ordered for worldwide shipping via my webshop.
