Additional Information

Vesting clergy should plan to arrive at First Presbyterian on Saturday, September 15 at 9:30am to vest and prepare for the processions. Additional information about where to enter the building and where to vest can be found here.

Doors open to the public at 10am.

Accommodations

Limited room blocks have been secured at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Allentown-Dorneyville and Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Allentown West for any who wish to book overnight accommodations.  Use the code DOB when booking online or mention the Diocese of Bethlehem when booking over the phone to receive the group rate.

Donations for Gifts

We are collecting contributions in order to provide Kevin with all that he will need to begin his ministry as bishop of Bethlehem. Items such as vestments and pectoral cross are being prepared in order to gift them at the ordination. Please consider contributing. Checks may be made payable to the Diocese of Bethlehem and sent to Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem, 333 Wyandotte St., Bethlehem, PA  18015. Please note Bishop gift on the memo line. You may also contribute online during the consecration registration process. All gifts of any amount are welcome and appreciated.

Diocesan Clergy: Meet and Greet with Presiding Bishop Curry



Clergy of the diocese are invited to a meet and greet with the Presiding Bishop at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity at 10am Friday, September 14. Breakfast will be available starting at 9:30am. Lunch will follow the meet and greet. 

There will also be a social event for clergy spouses during this time for any who wish to attend.
