Dear friends,
Spring is winding its way through Maine — right now we're experiencing a spate of those famous April showers, and so much green new life is emerging. Against the grey skies, that bright burst of fresh color feels like an invitation to get outside, to smell the rich earth, and to start preparing for the warmer weather ahead.
We're feeling a similar energy at The BTS Center, and we're excited to invite you into a number of new programs and spaces for engagement this spring and beyond. As you may have read in our last newsletter, we've got a gathering for spiritual directors coming up in May. If you're interested in spiritual direction, there are still just a few spots left in a few of our Group Spiritual Direction Circles — be sure to sign up right away if you're interested, as these groups will close soon!
We're also looking forward to another cohort of our Small Church Leadership Community, which will start in June. Applications close May 8th, so if you are a part of a small congregation in Northern New England, we encourage you to apply! So much learning came from last year's cohort, and this year's expanded program will offer even more opportunities for connection, visioning, and discernment.
Finally, it's never too early to plan for Convocation, which this year will be in person for the first time in years. We hope you'll consider joining us in late September for two days of learning, contemplation, and fun.
