GOOD FRIDAY & EASTER SUNDAY

During this weekend, we will be remembering the most important act of love ever demonstrated to humankind and celebrating the most important victory ever accomplished for humankind. The death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the pivotal event in all human history. Many people who do not normally attend church services or think much about God and Jesus are more apt to do so this weekend. We need to seize this opportunity and invite others to our Good Friday and Easter services so that they will hear the gospel and experience the presence of God. Prayerfully consider who you should invite and then...go invite them!

MEN'S RETREAT

JOIN OUR KIDVENTURE SHARE TEAM!!

KidVenture Team members needed! 

This is our 7th year of KidVenture! What is KidVenture? It is our annual Christ-centered club experience for kids who have completed grades K-5. This year our theme is In Your Element, and we will be inviting kids to discover who Jesus has made them to be! Kids will have the opportunity to choose one of seven clubs and to learn & develop a variety of skills. Our goal is to host 130 kids, June 23-27. We can't do it without lots of help!

We will be hosting a team informational meeting following both services on Sunday, May 4, in the lower level fellowship hall following both services. Join us to hear more and to get your questions answered! 

We want to make this the biggest, best year of KidVenture yet!

WM's Ministry Longwood Gardens Trip

The Women's Ministry is going to Longwood Gardens on Saturday, April 26th, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The trip will include a stop at a cafe before touring the gardens.

Volunteers for carpooling are needed, so please indicate if you would like to drive a group to the gardens when you sign up.

WATER BAPTISM CLASS

If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but have not yet been baptized in water, make sure you sign up for our water baptism class on Sunday, May 4.

This class will help you understand why water baptism is the first important step of obedience for every new Christian and prepare you for our water baptism service, which will take place on Sunday May 18. click the button below to sign up for the class.

We are excited to announce that we are hosting another Art of Marriage seminar on Saturday, May 17, at Calvary Church.

Family Life has created a new “Art of Marriage” seminar. This seminar is masterfully designed to inspire and equip today’s couples to reconnect and thrive together. Creatively presented as videos, spoken word poetry, animations, group discussion questions, date night challenges, and more, the six aspects of God’s powerful and perfect love can be understood and applied immediately. Couples in every life circumstance will feel understood and equipped by biblical wisdom and authentic stories from many wise marriage mentors.

Are you a passionate and reliable caregiver looking to make a difference in the lives of young children? We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team of dedicated professionals! We are looking for a group supervisor for our pre-kindergarten classroom. The hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30-5:30. Join us for our Facebook Live “Prayer and the Word” on Mondays and Thursday mornings at 6:30 am. We begin with a brief SOAP (Scripture/Observation/Application/Prayer). Then we spend time in praise and prayer. Presently we are reading through the Psalms.
