Annual Fall Staff Retreat

Our team enjoyed our Annual Fall Staff Retreat at the beautiful Hartman Reserve Nature Center. We spent the day surrounded by nature, discovering more about our unique communication styles and how we can work together even better.

This time spent connecting and learning together helps us strengthen our teamwork so we can serve our community even more effectively! Special thanks to Laura Hoy for facilitating this event.

2024 Gift of the Heart: Community Partnership Award

We were honored to stand alongside the House of Hope as we received the Gift of the Heart Community Partnership Award at AFP's National Philanthropy Day Awards Brunch. Through our collaborative Framing Hope program, we proudly partner with the House of Hope to create meaningful pathways to homeownership for single mothers in our community. We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the recognition it has brought. Together, we look forward to continuing this impactful work and making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve!

Wells Fargo Builds

Thank you Wells Fargo for your generous Wells Fargo Builds 2024 Grant! Your support of Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity is making a lasting impact on our community. The grant helped us rehabilitate the home at 909 W 3rd Street, creating a safe and welcoming space for a family in need. We're grateful for your commitment to building stronger neighborhoods and making a difference in the lives of so many.

In the News

Check out the article that the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier recently wrote about a fire scene and an abandoned building that will be demolished to start new Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity projects. Both addresses are surrounded by several home-building projects that have involved Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity.
