Head Of Spirit Lake Chamber To Serve In Dual Capacity

The man who heads the Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce is also now in charge of operations at the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. It was announced Blaine Andera has been hired as Chief Executive Officer of that organization as well.

RAGBRI Economic Impact  

The Register’s Annual Bicycle Ride Across Iowa started in Orange City for the first time in its 45 year history.

The ride, which draws cyclists from across the country and globe, is estimated to have a direct economic impact of about $17 million on Iowa. Orange City organizers expect it to draw 20,000 to 25,000 participants to the city of 6,500, known for its strong and visible Dutch heritage.

They've devoted their lives to doing things most wouldn't. They've spent countless hours on various boards and they've blazed a trail either personally or professionally for other women to follow.


New Local Chamber Leaders

Tara Barney has recently resigned from the Quad Cities Chamber. We wish Tara well in her future endeavors.  Kristin Glass will serve as the Interim CEO as the board conducts a search for a new CEO.
