Words From Weisner
This Saturday, March 14 is our annual St. Patrick's Day SPICE Dinner. We are looking forward to this event that not only celebrates the SPICE program in our school but also generates funds that support classroom teachers with items that enhance the academic lives of students with learning issues (and sometimes other students). In addition, SPICE continues to provide additional testing for speech (incoming kindergarten students), tutoring outside the school environment for a number of students, and in-services for teachers on learning issues. It is certainly a great evening of celebration for our school and parish.

Please continue to remember that Sunday, March 15 is the deadline date for FACTS applications for families who need additional tuition assistance through Level II parish grants. Late applications will not be considered. Information about tuition for the 2020-21 school year and tuition assistance will be available to parents in April.

Stations of the Cross will continue with our students through the Lenten season. We have a Penance Service scheduled for next week. In addition, classrooms are using this season as a time of reflection and social services action.

Finally, the 2020-2021 calendar is now posted on the school website. Starting date for school and other vacation/ out of school days are also noted on this calendar.

Until Next Week,
Janet Weisner

I am happy to help with any ideas and materials to get your club started. We also will reimburse you for all materials used.

Our students really enjoy participating in after school clubs but it is essential for parent involvement to keep these clubs going.
