Thoughts with Mr. Watts
“Aspire not to have more, but to be more.”
- Saint Oscar Arnulfo Romero
St. Catharine Families:

It was so wonderful to see our students back this week. We picked up where we left off before Spring break and they didn't miss a beat. Our students had the opportunity to experience the classroom set-up as it will be when we return to full-time in-person learning after Easter break. We want to ensure all of our students are supported as we transition to our new learning model.

We continue to place the health and safety of our students and staff at our highest priority. Schedules are being finalized and our staff is constantly strategizing on ways to best support our students spiritually, emotionally, and academically for the last quarter of this school year.

I will continue to keep all of our school families in my prayers as we approach Palm Sunday and Holy Week. I hope these last days of Lent bring us all closer to God. Let us all understand His will and the courage to bring love and compassion to all we come in contact with this Spring.

St. Joseph, Zealous Defender of Christ, Guardian of the Redeemer, and Terror of Demons, Pray for us.

Yours in Christ,

Mark Watts
Let us not tire of preaching love; it is the force that will overcome the world. - Saint Oscar Arnulfo Romero

Red Cross Blood Drive

Tuesday, March 30th • 1:00pm-7:00pm

The American Red Cross urges people to share their good health by giving blood or platelets during March, Red Cross Month. The messages below can be relayed to donors while scheduling appointments.

March is Red Cross Month. You can be part of the humanitarian mission of the American Red Cross by donating blood, platelets or plasma.

For patients in the emergency room, fighting cancer or facing a life-threatening illness, help can’t wait. Healthy donors are needed now to help ensure that patients have lifesaving blood products available for emergency and everyday medical treatments.

The Red Cross is testing blood donations for COVID-19 antibodies. As part of this effort, plasma from standard blood donations that test positive for COVID-19 antibodies may now help current coronavirus patients in need of convalescent plasma transfusions.
