Thoughts with Mr. Watts
"A thousand difficulties do not make a single doubt."
- Bl. John Henry Cardinal Newman
St. Catharine School Families:

We made it to March! The sun is out more often, the days are getting longer, and we are hitting the homestretch this year. As mentioned on Friday, we transitioning to full-day in-person learning after Easter Break. This decision comes from guidance from he office of Catholic Schools and updated recommendations from Franklin County Public Health.

We are currently in the revision phase of our plan as the Task Forde and faculty are reviewing, editing and updating the draft. Once our final version is ready, it will be sent to Father Dury and Superintendent Adam Dufault for approval. Once approved and final revisions are made, the plan will be published to the school community, hopefully by the end of the week.

Overall we will continue to stay in the Hybrid AM/PM Cohort Learning Model until Easter Break and transition to our full-day in-person model when we return in April. There will be nine weeks of school and almost the entire 4th quarter remaining. A detailed timeline will be included in Friday's communication.

Have faith in what lies ahead and continue to be an example of safety and empathy for your children as it will continue to be everyone's responsibility to keep our entire school community safe.

St. Joseph, Guardian of the Redeemer and Terror of Demons, Pray for us.

Yours in Christ,

Mark Watts
"I plead with you - never, give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid." - Pope St. John Paul II
"It is a lesson we all need - to let alone the things that do not concern us. He has other ways for others to follow Him; all do not go by the same path. It is for each of us to learn the path by which He requires us to follow Him, and to follow Him in that path."
- St. Katharine Drexel
