Thoughts with Mr.Watts
It's been just over two months since we first published our first draft of our reopening plan, which honestly feels like much longer. Today is officially the 12th day of school (not including the Phase-In Week) and although I cannot control everyone's perceptions on how things are going, I will say we are working hard to consistently adapt and improve in ways to better serve our students.

We will continue in a Tier II plan for the foreseeable future and reevaluate all aspects of that plan on a monthly basis. Our rationale for not starting school in a Tier I model and the specific version of the Tier II model we chose has not changed since its introduction. We are all praying for an eventual and safe return to Tier I when we are confident we can continue to mitigate risk for COVID spread.

I want to thank our faculty, staff, parents, and entire school community for their patience, adaptability, and their willingness to contribute in keeping all children safe.
"Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 3:12-14
COVID - 19 Information
COVID-19 Updates
If anyone in your household would have a Positive COVID-19 test result, you must notify Mr. Watts by calling (614) 949-7713 as soon as possible, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Mitigating Risk
In addition to the safety precautions outlined in our school re-opening plans, we have continued to upgrade our safety features to further mitigate risk of COVID-19 transmission.

  • Additional hands-free hand sanitizer near every entrance of the school
  • More signage to mandate masks and remind of hand hygiene
  • Replacing air filters from a Merv 7 rating to a Merv 11 rating in our HVAC system
  • 2-3 more Lithium-Ion electrostatic sanitizing “guns”
  • Addition of 270 clear sneeze-guards

School To-Go Lunches
We are going to be making to-go lunches for the kids starting Monday, October 5! We are offering them FREE to everyone, regardless of income, through December 31.*

Please fill out this quick survey so we can anticipate how many families will be utilizing this service.

Families will need to order a week in advance, due to staffing constraints we will not be able to accommodate same day orders. Directions and information on the ordering process will be set up and emailed out to parents within the next few days.

Families still need to turn in the Free & Reduced applications. These applications went home with students the first week of school, but can also be found on the school website, if additional copies are needed. Please place them in a sealed envelope with the word "Cafeteria" on the front. Families who do qualify for Free and Reduced will receive notification by mail. All information is kept completely confidential. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to

Mum Sale Pick Up

Curbside pick up is this Friday from 5:30p-8:00p.  Please come prepared to pick up all items ordered in your children's names.  In order to limit contact, please do not send individuals who ordered from your child to pick up their own items.  You are responsible for safely distributing orders to those who made purchases.

We will be conducting pick up similar to the student pick up line. Pull around parallel to the school building and we will load your orders for you. If you would like to double check your orders, please pull into the parking spaces near the parking lot exit.

Raffle tickets will be filled out ahead of time in order to limit contact. Mr. Watts will draw the winner at the end of the pick up. The prize winner will be contacted shortly after the drawing.

All orders must be picked up by 8:00p. Any items that are not retrieved will be donated.

If you have questions or concerns, contact Ronnee (r.erica.esterly@gmail.com).
