FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents:

As we begin the month of February, I find it hard to believe that we are already preparing for the 2019-2020 school year.  During the week of February 4, we will begin the course selection process for the 2019-2020 school year.  Each class will have a grade level assembly where we will review the course selection process as well as distribute materials necessary for course selection.

Grade level assemblies will be on the following dates:
February 4:  Freshmen
February 5:  Sophomores
February 7:  Juniors

The Camden Catholic High School Course Selection Guide is posted on Parents Web and the CCHS website ( CLICK HERE).  Please review this document with your students as it outlines the course selection procedures and gives a description of all of our course offerings. During the course selection assemblies, your student will receive copies of the tuition contract, transportation form, textbook loan form, and course selection worksheet.  These documents have been emailed home and are also posted on Parents Web for your convenience.  These documents must be filled out and returned to your student's homeroom teacher by February 22.

You may return the forms to school as you complete them.  It is not necessary to wait until February 22.

Thank you for your assistance in making this process smooth for the students and for your support of Camden Catholic High School.

Sincerely,
Heather Crisci
Principal

Congratulations to Lily Smith '20 who won the student poster presentation award at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary Conference.  She was the only high school student presenting (all of the other student posters were presented by college students). For her entry Lily completed an independent research project for the Green Team of Merchantville, NJ - part of the Sustainable New Jersey program. During the fall of this past year Lily created a tree inventory for all of the municipal shade trees in Merchantville with focus on ecological services, specifically sequestered CO2.
