Christian Service Progam
Verification of Christian service hours for the first semester were due December 10, 2018.
As a reminder  Christian service is an annual school requirement and students will not be eligible to participate fully in other extracurricular activities and events if they have not fulfilled their service obligations.

Parents and students who had not completed their first semester requirement were contacted via Renweb on Friday, January 11th. Any student who has not submitted the required number of hours for the first semester by 24 January 2019 will be ineligible to participate in any extracurricular activity, including but not limited to practices, dances, club meetings, etc. Eligibility will only be updated on Fridays so if a student turns in hours on Monday they will remain ineligible until the coming Friday. Make sure hours are submitted to RM 114 by 24 January 2019.

You can check hours on Renweb using the Family menu option on the left hand side and then selecting Service hours at the top of the page.

Students and faculty attend the March for Life on January 18, 2019 in Washington D.C.

Students have midterm examinations this week. These assessments count for twenty percent of the semester grade, and should be approached seriously.

The midterm examination schedule is as follows:
January 22: English and Social Studies
January 23: Math and World Language
January 24: Science and Religion
Each day we will follow a similar schedule . The first exam will start at 8:25. The second exam will start at 10:05. Dismissal will be at 11:30. Students who have already qualified for extended time accommodations will receive separate instructions.
Students should make every effort to be in school each day for Midterms. Only an absolute, documented, emergency should keep a student from taking the midterm exam on the scheduled day. These are outlined in the Student Handbook, and exclude travel plans. Parents should call the attendance office by 8:00 AM any day an emergency prevents a student from taking the exam.  Make-up exams will be given on January 25, 2019.

Thank you to the National Honor Society for hosting Exam Study Nights last week in preparation for midterms.
