As we wrap up the school year, we would like to take some time to reflect on what a great year we have had together. We all have learned a great deal and have shared experiences that will remain with us for years to come. We are so very proud of our students as we watch them grow academically and socially.
We must say goodbye to our third-grade students, as they head off to Prairie Ridge Intermediate School in the fall. We will miss them, and we wish them all the best!
We also want to express our sincere thanks as we say goodbye to a few of our staff members as they will be teaching in other schools in the district next fall. Mrs. Schaaf will head off to Westside Elementary School to teach kindergarten; Mrs. Beyer will be heading off to Pineview Elementary School to teach second grade; Mr. Honnold will be heading to Prairie Ridge Intermediate School to teach art; and Mrs. Molitor will head to Pineview. We are so grateful for their service to Ironton-LaValle Elementary School, and we wish them well!
A special thanks to our parents who have contributed in ways small, large, and unimaginable! Thank you for getting your kids to school on time each day and for helping them in the learning process; the partnership between home and school is important.
