Ironwood Capital Exits Investment in

Newbury Franklin Industrials

AVON, CONNECTICUT – DECEMBER 16, 2024 – Ironwood Capital is pleased to announce the exit on its investment in Newbury Franklin Industrials (“NFI” or the “Company”) as a result of a refinancing of Ironwood’s senior subordinated debt investment. NFI is a value-added manufacturer and distributor of consumable industrial components for the North American maintenance, repair, and operations (“MRO”) and general industrial markets.  NFI is headquartered in Buffalo, NY, with additional locations across New Jersey, North Carolina, Indiana, Alabama, and Texas.

“The NFI exit represents a successful investment within the business services and value-added distribution verticals for Ironwood,” stated Ironwood Capital Partner, Alex Levental. “Ironwood executed on a core tenet of our investment philosophy by growing our investment in NFI to help effectuate their growth initiatives. This was quantified by nearly doubling our initial investment during our holding period as the Company pursued add-on acquisitions, serving to expand NFI’s geographic, customer, and product reach. We are pleased with this outcome and wish the NFI team continued growth and success.”
