IRONWOOD CAPITAL SUPPORTS UNITED DESIGN PARTNERS' ACQUISITION OF NELSON WORLDWIDE

AVON, CT AND BOSTON, MA – July 21, 2026 - Ironwood Capital is pleased to announce its subordinated debt and equity investment in United Design Partners (“UDP”). Ironwood invested alongside Palm Beach Capital to support UDP’s acquisition of NELSON Worldwide, a nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm.

 

United Design Partners is an architecture and design focused buy-and-build platform, comprised of Knoxville, Tennessee-based MBI Companies, Fort Myers, Florida-based Studio+ and Minneapolis, Minnesota-based NELSON Worldwide. NELSON Worldwide represented the platform’s third acquisition, creating a scaled architecture and design business with 20 locations across the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast. UDP will continue to build its platform around NELSON’s robust infrastructure, national reach, and operational depth.
