Nearly 28% of homes listed in Atlanta experienced a price drop in the four weeks ending September 16—up 9 percentage points from last year.

What's going on?

First, home prices have been climbing more than  twice as fast as average incomes have been rising .

Second, prices keep going up, while the number of sales falls.

So, is it time to panic? Not yet! The tightening of lending laws won't allow another "housing crash" to happen. All signs point toward a well-needed market correction!

Being at the forefront of real estate news is what I do. I'll be attending a super secret market insight event this week and will report to you with the latest facts.
