Greetings!
IS GOD ENOUGH?
“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are COMPLETE in Him.” Colossians 2:10
I have discovered I need more than just church. I need more than just truth, doctrinal purity, and outreach. I need more than just a lifestyle change or friends and family. I need a POWER to live inside of me, that I will say YES to all the time, to transform me into a new person, a born-again, God-governed follower of Jesus Christ. This and this only can satisfy my heart longing.
My Quest for God
God’s guidance amidst my quest are His whispers to me, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14 This was a promise not only to Moses but to all that will live most heartily for God’s glory. Men like Enoch, Elijah, Daniel, Joseph, John the Baptist, the apostle Paul and certainly our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God’s promise to us is, “I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16
Yes Lord, this is my desire, this is my hope and I will settle for nothing less. Nothing can satisfy me unless I have You and You have me. This is the true want of the world.
This level of Christian intensity is indeed rare and almost extinct today but God calls us all to it, “You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with ALL your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.” Jeremiah 29:13 Truly, this is the pursuit of my life… a diligence in searching for that which was lost in Eden. One-on-one with God! I shall not be content until it is my experience. How about you?
This is why I spend so much time in God’s nature.
