May 26, 2018 - Issue 18-21

Good afternoon,

A few years ago, circumstances dictated - no...suggested - a change for me. I'd been working as a business coach. I loved coaching, but I was struggling with finding clients.

As I planned my move to Argentina, I happened on some information from American Writers and Artists, Inc. (AWAI), telling me that writing is a great way to make a living. I was pretty sure moving to Argentina wouldn't improve my access to coaching prospects. A little investigation seemed to confirm that writing would be a good business, and I decided to make the switch to writing professionally. As I explained in this issue of The Unity Community (I hadn't yet named it that) this was a pretty easy change for me to accept. Among other things, AWAI has been very helpful in my learning how to market myself - likely, if I'd known earlier what I'm now learning, my coaching business would have been more successful.

Here's Rose Walker, one of the many coaches (they're Unity Copywriting's target market) I've connected with on LinkedIn,  discussing a change in her life. Interestingly, her change is  from writing  to coaching, exactly the opposite direction from my change.

As Rose points out, sometimes change is forced on us. Other times, a little voice tries to tell you it's time to change. Many times we try to ignore that voice, and perhaps succeed - until the voice gets louder and more insistent.

Have a great day!

If you're in the B2B world of advising business leaders on how to improve their businesses, you have two issues in building your business:

Finding and Connecting with Qualified Prospects

You probably know that LinkedIn is a great tool for finding prospects, IF you know how to use it. We do - our Business Accelerator Program  will provide 15-30 qualified prospect connections a day and welcome them to your network.

Staying Visible to Those Prospects

Once you've made all these new connections, Unity Copywriting  can help you keep them engaged, interested, and remembering who you are, without bombarding them with hard-sell messages.

Be well, my friends.
