Call for Applications: Picture Collection Artist Fellowship

The New York Public Library's Picture Collection offers the Picture Collection Artist Fellowship, supporting artists or scholars researching or creating new works based on its vast holdings. Fellows receive stipends, access to the Collection, guidance from staff, and opportunities for collaborative exchange, funded by the Anne Levy Charitable Trust. Applicants must be a U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals that have been in the U.S. for at least 3 years.

Application Deadline: March 29, 2024

Stipend: $2,000 to $5,000

Call for Application: 2024 Van Lier Fellowship In Theater

The Asian American Arts Alliance, supported by the New York Community Trust, announces the 2024 Van Lier Fellowship for NYC-based Asian American theater artists in Acting and Directing. Each recipient receives a stipend and an eight-month fellowship, including career coaching, artistic mentorship, and a public program. Selection criteria includes artistic merit, creation of new work, community impact, and potential for growth. Applicants must be under 30 years old and residents of New York City.

Application Deadline: March 25, 2024

Stipend: $7,500

Call for Applications: Albertine Grants

The Albertine Foundation provide grant support to American and French nonprofit institutions wishing to organize exhibitions featuring living French or France-based artists and American artists, respectively. The program primarily seeks to introduce French artists to American audiences, and American artists to French audiences. This opportunity is for visual arts. Grants may not exceed 50% of the expenses related to the production of the project.

Application Deadline: March 20, 2024

Grant Amount: maximum grant is $30,000 for a solo exhibit or $15,000 for an artist participating in a collective exhibition.
