Nearly two-thirds (60%) of small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) reported losses of up to 15% or more in revenue during 2022 due to supply chain delays according to a recent survey, commissioned by the supply chain visibility platform Anvyl, entitled “2023 Supply Chain Outlook.” Based on the report, 31% of participating businesses reported financial losses of up to 15%. Meanwhile, 29% of responding businesses reported losses greater than 15%.

Congratulations to Elmwood School District for being one of 25 Wisconsin schools that received a grant for a Fab Lab. A fab lab, short for fabrication laboratory, is a high-technology workshop equipped with computer-controlled manufacturing components such as 3D printers, laser engravers, computer numerical control (CNC) routers, and plasma cutters. Through its Fab Lab Grant Program, WEDC is supporting the purchase of fab lab equipment for instructional and educational purposes for K-12 students across the state.
