Hi There!

The increase in fraud cases is alarming. The Federal Trade Commission received fraud reports from more than 2.8 million consumers last year, up from 2.1 million in 2020.

And, consumers reported losing more than $5.8 billion to fraud in 2021, an increase of more than 70 percent over the previous year.

It is more important than ever to safely destroy and dispose of sensitive and outdated documents, and reduce your vulnerability to financial fraud.

This is why SKP's Shredding Day is back! Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 17, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. A shredding truck will be at our office parking lot ready to shred any amount of documents you bring. More details will be shared soon.

Thank you.

Is a stock market downturn a good time for a Roth conversion?
The downturn in the stock market may have caused the value of your retirement account to decrease. But if you have a traditional IRA, this decline may provide a valuable opportunity: It may allow you to convert your traditional IRA to a Roth IRA at a lower tax cost.

Check out our blog post to learn the difference between a traditional IRA and a Roth IRA, and if a Roth conversion makes sense for you.
