Greetings! yet another PRT startup (Otto Bahn) has come to my attention. This one seems not to understand the need for vehicle-mounted switching and off-line stations. It will be interesting to follow their progress.

Solar Powered Automated Transportation Network for San José

A team of engineers, architects, and urban planners from San José State University, Southern Illinois, and the International Institute of Sustainable Transportation, with support from the Mineta Transportation Institute, is examining the benefits and challenges associated with creating a solar powered automated transit network (ATN) that will link areas near the north and south campuses of SJSU.

Elon Musk’s Boring Company submits plans for additional stops outside LVCC Loop
Elon Musk’s Boring Company recently submitted plans to add stops outside the Las Vegas Convention Center Loop (LVCC) with destinations to Caesars Entertainment properties in the city. The additional stops will be part of The Boring Company’s Vegas Loop.
