Unison Prayer
Almighty God, you’ve given me more blessings that I can count. I ask that you give me opportunities to share my gifts. I pray that you help me to serve others and strengthen them. Humble me so that all this is done in your name and for your glory, not mine. Also help me to cultivate and strengthen my gifts so that they can be of even more service. Amen.

Call to Worship:

L: We’ve come to worship God,
P: who loved us before we were yet born,
L: who knows us even better than we know ourselves,
P: whose presence never leaves us,
and whose love for us never ceases.
L: This is our God.
All: Let’s worship together!

A Time of Centering Prayer
You are invited to join us ten minutes before our Sunday service for a time of centering prayer. We are taking these few minutes before the service begins to prepare our hearts and minds for worship.
We will meet in the Amaryllis Room. All are welcome.

Plans are being made to re-start the Grace Ministry Teams!

Now is the time to re-engage, re-imagine and re-start the Ministry Team Concept here at Grace Church! Check out the chart above to see brief descriptions of each Team. Prayerfully consider how your experience, your creative ideas, your extra time, your joy, your energy can make a difference in our church, our community and our world.
On Sunday morning - July 17th and July 24th - following worship, everyone will have the opportunity to sign up for a Team. If you watch worship online, or if you prefer, you can sign up for a Team by clicking here. Signup for Grace UMC Ministry Teams

If you have questions, please contact the people spearheading this effort: Pastor Jen, Marsha Mower, Brad Wallace, Dean Fitch or Peggy Johnson
Sunday mornings we have returned to live streaming our Sunday services, but we realize that there are still some issues popping up some Sundays. On our website you can usually watch the recorded service after 10:30am or so. There is a link to our site at the end of this newsletter.
We continue to work on making the online experience better and appreciate both your grace and feedback as we make improvements. Soon, we will be updating our internet capabilities and are hopeful that this will fix some of the issues.
We are grateful to be able to offer our services online and appreciate any gifts received to help this ministry grow and continue.
Fellowship Help Needed!
Everyone has been enjoying the fellowship time after worship on Sunday mornings, and we are grateful to those of you have brought treats and made coffee for everyone. In an effort to allow more people to serve and to protect anyone form getting burned out, we could use some more people to take a Sunday. There is no need to provide an elaborate spread, just a sweet treat and perhaps a fruit or something else of your choosing. If you are able to just set-up, serve, and clean-up that would be helpful too. It is really up to you!
Please speak with Jody Perrine if you can help or add your name to the sign-up sheet.

The world is filled with uncertainty, and we need to consider how best to keep our church members and staff safe. Beginning June 26th, on Sunday mornings, after 9am, the only door that will be open as an entrance will be the main front doors leading into the Narthex. It does not seem wise to have as many open doors that we cannot monitor. We will not lock the other doors until worship has begun, and all of the doors will still work to go out.
During the week, our office hours will remain the same, but to enter you will need to be let in. Ring the doorbell and we will let you in.
Membership at Grace

A couple people have expressed an interest in joining the church. I am trying to determine if there is a need for a class. Please reach out to me (Pastor Jen), if you want to join the church and we can make a plan for what that looks like for you!
If you have something that should be added to this newsletter from your group or mission, please speak with Pastor Jen or email the details to her at pastorjen@tds.net. The E-Grace is generally completed by noon on Thursdays, so articles need to be given to me by Thursday morning at the very latest.
If you wish to connect with me directly and it is not an emergency, please know that I will respond as needed during pretty regular office hours. I am in the church most weekdays from at least 10-12, call ahead to be sure, as my weeks vary. Ann has my detailed schedule and can find me if needed.
