The start and end of the week will have little economic data, but we’ll watch how trade negotiations continue between the U.S. and China. On Wednesday, April retail sales and industrial production results are made public. Thursday will bring us information about April housing starts and building permits, and the Philly Fed manufacturing index numbers. We end the week with early returns for consumer sentiment for the first part of May.
