Visit Us At Wagner Plaza

You may remember that we co-hosted a monthly pop-up market last year. It was so successful that we are co-hosting a bimonthly (twice a month) pop-up market this year. You can expect many of the same local businesses and makers, as well as some new ones.

Please visit us at our next event on Saturday 4/15 and 4/29!

Dry Pitching Practices

On 3/13/23, Lallemand posted on their Instagram page "Dry pitching is the preferred method of inoculating wort. This method is simpler than rehydration and will give more consistent fermentation performance and also reduce the risk of contamination. Rehydration of yeast prior to pitching should be used only when equipment does not easily facilitate dry pitching."

Homestead Local Resources

We have been compiling a list of local resources to keep your homestead going. So far we have networked with local folks at the recent Oregon Cheese Festival, local Facebook groups, and even posted on Craigslist. One of our own customers saw a flyer in our store and let us know that he raises chickens locally!

Let's keep the list growing. Please let us know of any other homestead local resources.
