Is Your New Years Resolution to Improve Your Career? 
As another year comes to a close, people often begin to reflect on what they like, dislike or would change about their current role. We see that every candidates motivators are different; some people desire positions with greater work life balance or that gives back to the community, while others enjoy positions with harder challenges or access to modern technology. As many of the top, local IT companies finalize their staffing needs in 2016, we see repetitive trends in the marketplace. The first is an increasing need for IT Security professionals to prevent cyber attacks and hackers, as well as "Big Data" specialists to help companies manage years worth of database intelligence. We also know that experience with tools like Hadoop, Hive, Splunk, and Tableau are all being requested by some of the most forward thinking companies. Finally, Agile is becoming the new "normal" for software development teams; certified Scrum Masters and developers with Agile experience are a hot commodity!

IT Trivia -Christmas Edition
With it being the holiday season, this month's newsletter trivia question will focus on one of the oddest of the classic Christmas Songs...the 12 Days of Christmas. While the origin of the song is unknown, it was first published in a slightly altered form in 1780. Another aspect of the song that has never come to light is it's love of birds! If you added up the amount of birds that were given by the singer's "true love," how many birds would one have after the 12th Day of Christmas?
