Dear reader,

As the year draws to a close and we focus on the Christmas holidays, we thank you for your support and for selling Jamaica – the number one visited Caribbean island from the UK.

As you know, we had an unwelcome visitor at the end of October who breezed past immigration and left a mark on our beautiful island. And, while most of the island was spared, resorts on the South Coast and some of Montego Bay were damaged and closed for renovation.  We have a live link to all the latest information on hotel and attractions openings in this newsletter.

In the meantime, much of the island is fine and most hotels and resorts are open to welcome your clients to the warmth of the Jamaican sunshine and the warmth of the Jamaican people.

We count our blessings and look forward to new successes in 2026 and wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy New Year.

Elizabeth Fox,

Regional Director UK/N Europe
