Due to inclement weather in the Gulf of Mexico the Beach Renourishment project experienced delays and began on May 25th and should be completed by June 26th, weather permitting.
The project will be completed in sections and move southward approximately every one to two days.
While the City anticipates approximately 270,000 cubic yards of sand, this will provide 100 - 150 feet of beach depth.
