ISLE IS HIRING
We are now hiring for two Part-Time positions at Isle of Gamers. The hours will be primarily Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as other nights during the week.

Applicants should be very familiar with the organized chaos and vibe at Isle of Gamers.

SANTA VISIT AT ILLUSIVE COMICS & GAMES 12/15
Children of all ages are welcome to meet Santa! This Santa is patient and experienced with Special Needs children. There will be no line, we'll call people up by number so kids can run around outside or watch a movie or do coloring. We will have a photographer (tips welcome), and printed copies of photos will be $5 each (just to cover costs).
ANNUAL WHITE ELEPHANT PARTY AND POTLUCK 12/15
It's time for our Annual White Elephant Gift Exchange and Potluck, which will be held at Isle of Gamers this year.

Bring one wrapped gift, per attendee, for this gift exchange (inappropriate, awful and ridiculous are fine- there's a reason it's adults only), and some food for the potluck. Eating will start at 7pm. The gift exchange conniving, stealing and laughter will start at 8pm. 

*Saturday night gaming will be canceled this week due to this event. Don't worry, plenty of tabletop gaming will happen.
Discounted Event Pricing ends Fridays at 4p
FRIDAY NIGHT MAGIC
Friday at 7:15p we will have a Guilds of Ravnica Draft.

Be sure to preregister by 4pm on Friday to get the discounted pricing of $13.99 per gamer.
STANDARD SHOWDOWN SUNDAY AT 1P
Bring your Standard Deck or purchase a Planeswalker Deck from us and enjoy this special event each Sunday for the next couple months. Everyone will leave with either a special Promo Pack or a pack of Guilds of Ravnica.

$5 if you preregister by 4pm on Friday; $10 after that.
KEYFORGE ARCHON REVERSAL TOURNAMENT SAT AT NOON
This is a Relaxed Tier, Basic Structure, Archon Reversal Event. Bring an Archon deck from your collection that you feel is challenging to win with. Each round players will temporarily swap control of their deck with their opponent and try to win the round with the deck their opponent brought!

All participants will get a premium active house card of their choice. Top 4 will get a set of 3 premium stun cards. First place will get a set of the premium metal damage tokens
LEARN TO PLAY KEYFORGE
SAT AT 4PM
Come learn this new game that is already sold out everywhere!

We have decks set aside for these event participants.

The price includes one KeyForge Deck. Preregister by 4p on Friday and the cost is $10. $15 per player after that.

The event will run from 5-7p.
FAMILY GAMING SUNDAYS
Welcome to Sunday Afternoon Family Gaming! While all are welcome, this event is specifically for parents and their kids. We will teach the featured game(s) from about 12p-1p and then you can play another round or three.

This week we'll be teaching Dixit.

The featured games' expansions will be 20% off for the day.

If you already own this game, bring your copy so more players can have fun. We ask gamers to spend $5 on themselves when they come play.
REGISTER NOW FOR KID'S WINTER D&D
The sessions are 12 weeks long. They are each running a similar event, but kids will have to make different decisions in each one.

These events will all be held at Illusive Comics in the Podcast room.

Arkham Horror, 3rd Edition
I was a big fan of the old Arkham Horror, but if I'm honest, it was a bit fiddly to manage the game while you played-- lots to keep track of. This new edition has kept all the rich theme and stolen the best mechanics from many of Fantasy Flight's games like the Arkham Horror Living Card Game, Eldritch Horror, and the Fallout Board Game. I am in love with this new edition. You get more story, more agency as a player, and you can really enjoy the challenges you face. Every time I lose, I'm eager to play again.

This is a fascinating and fun struggle to survive on a harsh and unforgiving board. Every box offers a completely different set of tiles, scenarios, enemies and tools so as the title suggests you will be discovering what the game has in store for you as you play even if you've seen someone else's copy before. Every turn is a race to prep yourself for the harsh night while trying to accomplish scenario goals and deciding whether to risk combat with the monsters that roam the board.

KEYFORGE ARCHON SEALED ADAPTIVE TOURNAMENT 12/22
This is a Relaxed Tier, Basic Structure, Sealed Adaptive Event. For the first game players will receive a sealed deck to play with. For the second game players will play with their opponent's deck, and if the round goes to the third round, players will bid chains to play with the deck that won 2 times. Players keep the deck they opened. All participants will get a premium active house card of their choice.
December 25th Isle of Gamers will be closed, but Illusive Comics & Games will be open from 11a-3p.
KEYFORGE ARCHON SURVIVAL TOURNAMENT 12/29
Each player enters the tournament with 2 decks from their own collection. Each time a player loses a match the deck they played with is "out" and can not be used for the remainder of the tournament. When a player no longer has decks remaining they are eliminated from the tournament.
