✡︎ Shalom and Good Day, Friends ✡︎
Today's newsletter opens with news out of Israel that abortion restrictions in the sanctuary state for Jews have been eased during recent legal changes made by the health committee. The token termination committee that approves nearly all requests for government funded abortions managed to survive due to the bureaucratic nightmare raging in the Knesset, but many babies won't survive online requests and easier access to chemical abortion. The article states that abortions are still only legal up to 12 weeks. Why then does the Hadassah Medical Center website say that women undergo 'dilatation and curettage', a second trimester procedure? And, according to a former abortionist living in Israel, late term abortion for mild or undetermined fetal anomalies are quite common in the Jewish sanctuary state that provides zero sanctuary if you happen to be Jewish living in a woman's womb.
A special thank you to one of our friends for translating the English on one of my favorite posters into Hebrew! Please let your friends and family know that we are looking for help translating the English text on our educational memes, flyers and posters to Hebrew and then sharing on social media in Israel. Send them this newsletter and my email address to help get them connected. We can host a zoom translation party! This is the beginning of the implementation of our Israel Pro-Life Educational Project. Our role could be very effective, so let's work together to make a life saving impression in Israel!
Our friend in Israel, Kenneth Ryesky, shares his thoughts on the Dobbs case and the interactions his provocative comments elicited from his social media contacts. Truly , a fascinating and engaging blog!
We share the link to another Root and Branch interview devoted to the life issue. Dr, Zev Zelenko, of blessed memory, was unable to host the show due to his imminent passing, so his representative and Rabbi Chananya Weissman co-hosted the webinar. Dr, Zelenko was a righteous defender of human life, and we're honored to share a tribute to him given by Rabbi Michoel Green of Westboro MA.
Rabbi Weissman has been very outspoken in recent days in his Torah based defense of unborn babies, and we're delighted to share his programs with you.
We're opening our upcoming healing opportunity on Sunday July 24th in our private zoom room to Hebrew speaking women by offering Hebrew captioning and translation throughout. We offer a special thanks to the extraordinaryfriends who provided the Hebrew translation for the flyer. Please share the flyers below with your friends and family in Israel and in the US.
