Senior Internship Program Update

Conestoga Seniors are securing their internships for the four-week period from May 9th through June 3rd. The Senior Internship Program offers seniors an opportunity to explore an area of career or academic interest during the last month before graduation.

The Senior Internship Program and the students’ searches are being impacted by changes in the work force caused by Covid-19, so we are allowing seniors to do independent and virtual internships as well.  Seniors who are not able to secure an internship will remain in school or can opt for a virtual course outlined below.

The deadline for forms for Senior Internship has been moved to April 29. All information, materials, deadlines and communication for the Senior Internship will be available to students through Schoology. Below are links to the 3 Senior Internship forms that must be completed in order for the student to do an internship.

Reflections is a non-denominational event that is held at Daylesford Abbey for the Conestoga High School’s Graduating Class of 2022 and their parents. During the program, selected senior students will take part in musical performances and speeches, celebrating and reflecting on the Class of 2022’s school years, their resilience, and their incredible achievements. Reflections is a wonderful event for seniors and their parents!

Attendees: Space constraints at the Abbey do prohibit us from inviting more than parents and members of the Class of 2022 to this event.

Invitations: CHS Class of 2022 and their families will be mailed an invitation with more details in May.

Auditions: Students should be on the lookout for Schoology posts about musical and speech auditions.
