Attention 10^th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians:

The CHS Student Services Department is pleased to invite you to join us for Sophomore Springboard. This evening program will be held on Thursday, April 9^th at 7:00pm in the Conestoga Auditorium. We will cover all the questions you may have about your upcoming junior year and beyond. We will also have an expert guest speaker who will help answer all your questions about college testing. We look forward to seeing you there!

SENIOR EXPERIENCE ELECTIVE

The Senior Experience Elective program at Conestoga offers seniors in good standing an opportunity to explore an area of career or academic interest during the last four weeks of school before graduation. The Senior Experience Elective dates this year are May 4th through May 29th. The deadline for the three Senior Experience forms is April 10, 2026. The Student Proposal and Community Sponsor Agreement forms can be found in the senior's Schoology course for Senior Experience Elective. The Parent Authorization form was recently emailed to all senior families. Questions may be directed to Jacqui Rothera, Program Coordinator, at 610-240-1913 or rotheraj@tesd.net.

SENIOR PROM - April 17th

The Senior Prom will be held on Friday, April 17^th from 8pm to 11pm at The Phoenixville Foundry. A variety of appetizers and desserts will be served. Tickets are $100 and are currently available to purchase online through the Powerschool parent portal until Monday, April 6th. Tickets will be sold in person in room 152 (before and after school) from Tuesday, April 7th to Friday, April 10th. To avoid waiting in line, it is recommended tickets be purchased online. All debts must be paid prior to purchasing a ticket. Parking is available at The Foundry and in surrounding public lots. Please be mindful of signage to avoid being towed.

One Poem One Stoga - Parent Volunteer Opportunity

We are in need of volunteers to support our annual One Poem One Stoga tradition to celebrate National Poetry Month in April. This opportunity is during the day from April 13-17, sign up genius link here.

The English department chooses a poem by an acclaimed poet to serve as a model for students who then craft their own original poem using the style and structure of the original. Each grade level publishes their poems on different colored paper, and all 2300+ poems are hung up throughout the hallways at Stoga. We need the help of parent volunteers to see that the student work is hung neatly and spread evenly throughout the school. It's simple: sign up to commit an hour or two (or more!) of your time and we will give you a stack of student poems and a roll of tape. Enjoy a little nostalgia of your own high school years and soak up the energy of the kids as you tape their poems to the walls. We hope you can help us pull off another successful year of One Poem One Stoga!

Conestoga Job Fair - April 21

The Annual Conestoga Job Fair for students will take place on Tuesday, April 21, 11am -2pm, in the Atrium. Area businesses who are looking for student employees, seasonal or year-round part-time, will be here to talk to students. Snow Day in May: Senior Picnic Sign-up and Donation

Each year, Seniors at Conestoga High School are invited to celebrate the last day of classes at the Snow Day in May picnic.This year’s picnic will be on Friday, May 1st at CHS from 11:00 am - 1:15 pm. It is a FREE event organized by Senior parents.

In order to provide the majority of the food for the 600+ seniors, we are asking for some food and monetary donations. If you would like to donate money, and any amount is appreciated! You can easily donate via PayPa l. As a guide, in the past we have asked for donations of $25, $50 and $100, or a custom amount for the Hoagie and Ice Cream fund.

We also need additional snacks and water bottles, along with some games to borrow and some parents to help out on Snow Day May 1. Please take a look at the sign-up genius and donate what and volunteer when you can. We are looking forward to putting on a great picnic for the kids!

AP Exam Update

AP exams are scheduled for May 4-16, 2026. If your student is registered for an AP exam, please review the information below. The majority of exams will be administered digitally, or will be a hybrid of digital and paper/pencil. Teachers are communicating the format of their specific exam to students in class. Students must have their laptops, fully charged, and their charger on the day of their exam. Likewise, they must have their College Board email address and password to be able to access their exams. They will not be able to use their phone or notes on the day of the exam. Please click on the links below for additional information.

Class Parent Organizations & Class Meetings

Each grade level at Conestoga has a Class Parent Organization which meets each month. These class meetings are held virtually on Microsoft Teams. The link to your grade level meeting will be the same each month. The Parent Chairs will provide the links to the meetings in their email blasts. The links can also be found on the CHS website. The meetings are led by the Class Parent Chairs and include updates from Dr. Meisinger, the Assistant Principals, and Counselors. Information provided at the meetings also includes school activities and events, community announcements and parent volunteer opportunities. Meeting dates, meeting links, and Parent Chair contact information can be found from the Parent Chair emails and on the CAPCO website.

Senior Reflections - June 1

Families of seniors will be receiving an invitation to attend Senior Reflections. Reflections is an inspiring, long-standing Conestoga High School tradition held at Daylesford Abbey the night before graduation. It is a non-religious event, planned by parents of seniors.

Many members of the Class of 2026 will speak and perform, reflecting on their experiences their school years have provided. This event is funded solely by families of the Class of 2026. Donations are now being accepted at this link:

Message from the Nurses

Parents/Guardians,

Seasonal allergies are approaching this time of year. If your child experiences allergy symptoms, please ensure they take their allergy medication at home before coming to school, as prescribed.

Please note that the school does not have allergy medication available. Thank you for helping keep your child comfortable and ready to learn.

Athletic Update

Spring sports are up “up and running” and we are excited to be using the new facility. Please know that the facility is still an active construction site and the fields and roadways are not open to the public at this point. Please check the athletic website for all important information Conestoga Athletics. For Spring sports, please make sure all pick up and drop off take place in the lots provided. The police have asked that drop offs should not take place on public roads.

Kindergarten and New Student Registration Information

for 2026-2027 School Year

Registration for kindergarten and first grade students new to T/E is open. Information needed for registration is available on the T/ESD website . Families with children who plan to enter the T/E School District in grades two through four in September are also encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Traffic Safety Reminders

In agreement with the township, the New Lower North Parking Lot is not to be used as a Drop Off in the morning or a Pick-Up in the afternoons. We ask our parents to please plan accordingly when dropping off and picking up your child.

DROP OFF – Parents may drop off in the front of the building using two lanes. The bus circle is available beginning at 7:40AM as an additional drop-off location.
PICK UP - Parents may pick up in the front of the building using two lanes. The bus circle is available at 3:00PM for parents to pick up students.
Please DO NOT use the Main Lot for drop-off and pick-up as it creates more congestion for our student drivers.
Drive slowly and carefully on school drop off areas and nearby roads.
Obey all traffic flow patterns and rules of the road DO NOT MAKE ILLEGAL U-TURNS
Please be respectful of our neighbors. DO NOT use driveways as a turn around.
The Timothy School should not be used as a drop-off/pick-up location.
When dropping off and picking up students, please pull all the way up allowing traffic to flow.
Discuss pedestrian safety with your kids (use crosswalks/sidewalks, look both ways, don't "walk and text," etc).
