Visit Wales Addo
Visit Wales has created a suite of assets to support businesses to spread the 'Visit Wales. Safely' message.

Download safety posters, a data capture form for Test, Trace & Protect procedures, and find out more about 'Addo' - the online pledge they're promoting to encourage visitors to support and do the little things that make a big difference.

Tell us what's new
Thank you to all members who have already been in touch.

A reminder to everyone that we'd love to hear from you about any developments/changes that you've implemented during lockdown. For example, some of you have completely renovated, or opened new accommodation... they could be big or small changes.

Please email:  press@mwtcymru.co.uk  with the subject line 'What's new since lockdown'

Don't worry if you don't have a fully fledged press release to send us, a brief email is fine. We would like to highlight some of the key developments / changes in our press and media campaign, so we can pull everything together.

You can also upload video and photo content direct to our social media agency, S3 - they're on hand to edit it and package it up so it's distinctly Visit Mid Wales, ready for us to share with our thousands of followers!
If you have any questions about how to participate in our marketing activity, or want to know more about the content we're looking for, please give us a call on 01654 702653.
Surveys
Thanks to members who responded to last week's survey - we had a great response in a short space of time from over 140 businesses.

Headline stats for accommodation
  • 74% now re-opened or partially re-opened
  • 17% re-opening in August or September
  • 6% no indication if/when re-opening
  • 3% re-opening in 2021

Headline stats for attractions/activities/restaurants:
  • 53% now re-opened or partially re-opened
  • 29% re-opening in August or September
  • 12% no indication if/when re-opening
  • 6% re-opening in 2021

65% of businesses stated they have restrictions in place, e.g. some services are closed / pre-booking is in operation.

It's so important that we gather this data to help build a picture across the region.
