SENIOR ACTIVITES


SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT: Thursday, June 2, 2022, 7pm, Auditorium

Senior Awards Night is a celebration for our senior award winners. Those honored will be notified prior to the event. Parents and family members are encouraged to attend.



REFLECTIONS: Sunday, June 5, 2022, 7pm, at Daylesford Abbey

Senior Parents should have received an invitation to Reflections from the 2022 Reflections Committee. Reflections is a non-denominational event that is held at Daylesford Abbey for the Conestoga High School’s Graduating Class of 2022 and their parents. During the program, senior students will take part in musical performances and speeches, celebrating and reflecting on the Class of 2022’s school years, their resilience, and their incredible achievements. Reflections is a wonderful event for seniors and their parents!

COMMENCEMENT: Tuesday, June 7, 2022, 6pm, Teamer Field

Mark your calendars for the Class of 2022 Commencement! Doors open at 5pm. No tickets are needed! Rain dates are Wednesday, June 8th and Thursday, June 9th.


REMINDER: Graduation rehearsal will be held at 9am on the morning of graduation. Students should bring water!! Caps and gowns will be distributed after rehearsal. All debts must be settled in order to receive your cap and gown. Reminder, final laptop collection is on Monday, June 6th from 10am -1pm in the main lobby. Any debts, including laptops, will delay the pick up of caps and gowns. Debts can be checked through Power School. 

 

Senior Internship Program Update

Conestoga Seniors are participating in the Senior Internships now through June 3rd.  Our seniors are have secured internships in a wide variety of professional and non-profit settings, including data science, education, engineering, environmental agencies, law, medicine real estate, technology and business.   We are proud of all of our seniors!

Junior Prom 

May 21, 2022


Junior prom is being held at the Sheraton Valley Forge on Saturday May 21, 2022 from 6-10pm. Junior prom is a formal event with dinner, dessert, dancing and a photobooth provided with the cost of the ticket.

JUNIOR PARENTS NEEDED FOR REFLECTIONS

It is a tradition for Junior parents to help with Senior Reflections so the Senior parents can enjoy the evening with their students. Many volunteers are needed to help out the evening of Reflections, Sunday, June 5th. Please sign up here Reflections Volunteers.

Sports Update


The playoff season has begun and the following teams are still competing, Boys and Girls Lacrosse have both advanced to the District 1 Quarterfinals, Boys Tennis is currently competing in the PIAA State Championships and the Track teams is competing in the District 1 Championships this weekend. New this season, we have cameras that has been installed at the stadium that allows us to livestream all games that take place at Teamer Field. The Fall Sports meeting will be in person on Thursday, May 26, 2022 (6:00 PM) in the auditorium. Football will be held on Monday. May 23rd at 7:00 in the auditorium. We will have breakout sessions with individual sports immediately after the meeting.

 

For planning purposes, the fall 2022 season will begin August 15th ( JV-varsity football August 8th). Our athletic website is a wonderful source of information regarding Conestoga Athletics: https://www.tesd.net/domain/1881. We will begin accepting Fall PIAA paperwork July 5th in the athletic office. Paperwork can also be mailed to [email protected]. For athletic reasons, all PIAA physicals must be dated June 1, 2022 or after.

 

 

Traffic Safety Reminders

 

  • DROP OFF – Parents may drop off in the front of the building using two lanes. The bus circle is available beginning at 7:40AM as an additional drop-off location.
  • PICK UP - Parents may pick up in the front of the building using two lanes. The bus circle is available at 3:00PM for parents to pick up students.
  • Please DO NOT use the Main Lot for drop-off and pick-up as it creates more congestion for our student drivers.
  • Drive slowly and carefully on school drop off areas and nearby roads.
  • Obey all traffic flow patterns and rules of the road DO NOT MAKE ILLEGAL U-TURNS
  • Please be respectful of our neighbors. DO NOT use driveways as a turn around.
  • The Timothy School should not be used as a drop-off/pick-up location.
  • When dropping off and picking up students, please pull all the way up allowing traffic to flow.
  • Discuss pedestrian safety with your kids (use crosswalks/sidewalks, look both ways, don't "walk and text," etc).
