Stark County Has More Than 90,000 Students: Preschool through College

According to the   2017 American Community Survey (ACS)  , Stark County's school enrollment (age 3 and older) is estimated to be 90,444[1] - 26% of whom are enrolled in some level of college. 




















In 2005, the first year that comprehensive ACS figures were available, college enrollment stood at 18,408. Since that time, Stark's college enrollment has seen a 29% rate of increase. 

According to National Student Clearinghouse StudentTracker [2][3] over the past seven years (2011-2018), 58% of Stark County graduates[4] enrolled in a college or university in the fall following graduation. Further, of  these 58%, 7,763 students (35%) attended a college or university within Stark while 65%  went to colleges/universities outside of the county.
