AP Honor Roll

This year, the Perry Local Schools joined the North Canton City Schools on the College Board's 2011 Advanced Placement Honor Roll. Only 367 districts across the nation earned this distinction.

Stark's AP Courses Continue to Represent Millions in Potential College Savings

Students scoring a 3 or above on Advanced Placement (AP) tests can be awarded credit at most of the nation's colleges and universities.

Last year, Stark County's 17 public school districts offered 139 AP courses to 2,042 students who scored 3 or above on 2,007 tests. The resulting savings in college tuition ranges between $879,000 to as high as $5,789,000, depending on whether students enroll in a 2 year public or four year private institution.
