It Might Only Happen Once in your Lifetime,
So Don’t Miss It.

A major event is taking place on Sunday, May 17, in Washington DC, the first time in our lifetimes. At the beckoning of the President, America is being rededicated to God.
Brittany Baldwin, with “Rededicate 250”, along with David Donaldson, who is with the White House Faith Office, joined the World Prayer Network last night to discuss this significant spiritual event. Watch the call here: WPN Call 546.

| | Eleven days ago, we attended a meeting at the EEOB (Eisenhower Executive Office Building) which is a few feet west of the White House. The EEOB is where many of the White House staff office, since there are only about 15-20 offices in the West Wing. | | EEOB - Meeting of Faith Leaders regarding REDEDICATE 250 | | |
The meeting was chaired by persons within the Trump Administration who are leading “Freedom 250” along with some from the White House Faith Office. Let this sink in: President Trump has called for America to be rededicated to God. That, in itself, is an astounding statement.
In spite of all the flaws and sins in the Church in America (and it does seem so broken), the People of God, and the flaws in all political leaders, it is still a very good thing for us to gather, and to together, humbly rededicate this nation to Almighty God.

During the meeting, several of us made suggestions and asked questions. I suggested that when the moment comes for the actual rededication, that is, when someone leads in the moment in which we rededicate the nation to God, that the crowd be asked to kneel. We need to see this as a profoundly sacred moment. This is not ritualistic. It is an actual covenant with God Himself. Thus, if people can while standing (no chairs to my knowledge) on grass, the crowd needs to kneel as a way of saying, “This is a holy and sacred moment.” We need to view this not from our eyes, “Hey this is nice,” but from the view of God, “This is holy.”
As the meeting was ready to close, one of the men in the room suggested we close our meeting by kneeling. We did. It was a special moment before the Lord.
| | | I am thankful for a president who wants to see this happen. And I am immensely thankful he has a team around him helping with Freedom 250, in general, and especially with Rededicate 250: Vince Haley (we worked together in 2012 with Newt Gingrich in his run for the presidency), Rachel Gerli, Brittany Baldwin, and Justin Caporale. | | In addition, Paula White, Jenny Korn, and David Donaldson of the White House House Faith Office, are giving leadership to this remarkable project. | | | |
The day and date is Sunday, May 17, beginning at around 12pm Eastern Time (which would be 9am on the West Coast). There will also be a pre-program starting at 10:30 ET, which would be 7:30 PT.
Once again, this is a unique moment for believers. For the first time in our lifetime, a U.S. president has called the nation to prayer—to humble ourselves and rededicate America to God. This moment rises above politics. It is a call for unity, repentance, healing and hope.

If you can, come to the National Mall on Sunday, May 17th, to be a part of a national renewal. This will be the first time that Americans from across the country gather together to rededicate the United States as One Nation Under God. If you cannot attend in person, watch on livestream.
On May 17, 1776, the Second Continental Congress held a day of “prayer, fasting, and humiliation” just weeks before declaring independence on July 4th. Now, exactly 250 years to the day, thousands of Americans will come together in our nation’s capital to give thanks for God’s blessings over the last 250 years—and to ask for his protection and guidance as we enter the next 250.

Through worship, prayer, and storytelling this will be a day to remember the people, sacrifices, and defining moments in which has God shaped our history.
During the event, you will hear from faith leaders and public servants including Jentezen Franklin, Jack Graham, Lou Engle, Jonathan Pokluda, Jonathan Falwell, Gary Hamrick, Cissie Graham, Secretary Pete Hegseth, Dr. Ben Carson, Eric Metaxas, Apostle Maldonado and Bishop Robert Barron. There will also be music throughout, including a worship concert after the moment of rededication.
