Thanks for Making our 2018 Gala a Huge Success!
Our  Annual Gala  on May 3rd was the biggest and best ever! Thanks to the generosity of 450+ guests, we raised over $230,000 to support our clients!
A Night to Remember
From the moment our  Gala  began, our guests enjoyed a fantastic evening! They networked with each other while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and bidding on our silent auction. Throughout the night, guests shared photos on social media using our event hashtag  #mcchgala2018
MCCH Honors First Responders
The theme for our 2018 Gala was " Honoring First Responders ." We wanted to recognize the important role of Montgomery County’s emergency responders in addressing homelessness in our community.

Before presenting our 2018 Distinguished Service Award to representatives of each local branch of first responders, we showed a video explaining why their role is so critical. Watch the video to hear from MCCH staff, clients, and first responders.
MCCH Veteran Client Rudy Shares His Transformation
Since 2016, MCCH has supported Rudy in a home of his own after experiencing homelessness. Now, Rudy is ready to move on from our program and live independently. Rudy shared his story through a video we showed during the gala, and he also was present at the gala with his son! Watch the video to see how two years in our program transformed Rudy into the man he is today.
MCCH Receives Nonprofit of the Year Award
from Nonprofit Village
The morning after our gala, MCCH was honored to be recognized by the Nonprofit Village as the Large Nonprofit recipient of the 2018 Making a Difference Award at their annual breakfast. Watch the video shown during the presentation to learn why MCCH was chosen for this prestigious award!
We are extremely grateful to our generous sponsors , led by Platinum sponsors Enterprise Holdings, GEICO, the Pettit Family Charitable Foundation, and Coalition Homes, as well as Robert Linn and Dr. Gail Linn, for enabling us to host this spectacular event!
